Loop today, Hyperloop
tomorrow

Hyperloop is the future of transportation, an ultra fast, energy efficient system capable of traveling from Los Angeles to San Francisco in just 30 minutes.  Using low pressure tubes and magnetic propulsion, it promises a safer, faster and more sustainable way to move people and goods.

The rLoop Story:
From Reddit to
SpaceX Champions

rLoop started as a Reddit community and quickly gained global recognition as the winners of the SpaceX Hyperloop Pod Competition, the only team to be entirely crowdsourced and crowdfunded.

Beating the Giants

In 2015, Elon Musk launched the Hyperloop challenge to design and build the Hyperloop..  Competing against over 1,200 teams, including Richard Branson’s Virgin Hyperloop and top universities from around the world, the Reddit Loop community took up the challenge and won the best design and innovation awards.

What is Hyperloop?

Originally outlined in a 2013 white paper by Elon Musk, Hyperloop envisions a new mode of transportation where passengers and cargo travel through a near vacuum tube at speeds of up to 700 mph.  Musk released the concept as an open source project, allowing engineers and innovators worldwide to contribute to its development.
